ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY RCN ISTAR
Arcfield Canada is delivering specialized airworthiness expertise to the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) for the Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (ISTAR UAS) project. This support ensures that UASs comply with the Department of National Defence’s airworthiness standards, including the achievement of technical and investigative airworthiness certifications. The effort contributes to delivering a safe and operationally effective ISTAR capability, significantly strengthening the RCN’s ability to detect and monitor maritime threats, both domestically and internationally.
CF-18 AVIONICS IN-SERVICE SUPPORT
Arcfield Canada has been the prime contractor for CF-18 automated test equipment (ATE) and avionics for over 35 years, providing a full complement of in-service support activities, including program management, technical information support and second/third line repair and overhaul of the complete CF-18 avionics suite and associated support equipment and ATE. Additionally, we provide supply chain management including control of over $870M of government-owned material, life cycle management and engineering support services, including software and hardware development.
CF-18 Primary Air Vehicle Supply Chain Services
Arcfield Canada is a principal subcontractor to L3Harris on the CF-18 Primary Air Vehicle (PAV) contract awarded in July 2022 for which we provide a full complement of supply chain management services, including on-base support of the CF-18 aircraft components and materiel for first- and second-line maintenance, repair and overhaul and associated support equipment.
CF-18 Propulsion Group Sustainment
Arcfield Canada is the principal subcontractor to Magellan Aerospace for the CF-18 Propulsion Group Sustainment (PGS) contract awarded in April 2017. We provide comprehensive supply chain management, including on-base customer service windows and warehouses supporting the CF-18 F404 engine and associated aircraft power systems, material procurement for first- and second-line maintenance and subcontract management for the aircraft auxiliary power unit and generator converter unit.
International F/A-18 Support
Arcfield Canada supports the international F/A-18 community with a full suite of operational test program set (OTPS) development, automatic test equipment (ATE) support and comprehensive training programs. Arcfield today counts amongst its valued customers all remaining F/A-18 users: Malaysia, Finland, Kuwait, United States (U.S. Marine Corps), Switzerland and Spain. As such, Arcfield Canada is a trusted advisor within this community of practice through its active involvement and participation in organized working groups, cultivating a deep understanding of its customers’ respective concept of operations (CONOPS).
