Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) and Value Proposition
Arcfield Canada is committed to supporting Canada’s Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) and Value Proposition policy as administered by Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada. Arcfield works with like-minded companies and small businesses to leverage economic benefits on our programs and create high-value work for Canadians and Canadian companies.
The ITB policy leverages defence and security procurement to create jobs and economic growth. The ITB Policy requires companies awarded defence contracts to do business in Canada equal to the value of their contracts. The goal is to generate value-added business activity and ensure that defence procurement supports the economic development of Canada's defence industry. The ITB Policy applies to most procurements by the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Coast Guard.

Arcfield supports the ITB Policy main objectives:
-
Support the long-term sustainability and growth of Canada’s defence sector
-
Support the growth of prime contractors and suppliers in Canada, including small and medium-sized firms in all regions of the country
-
